We hear it all the time from owners, "Puppies can't be groomed before 6 months of age"... This isn't entirely true. Puppies have a full lifetime of grooming ahead of them and the best time to begin teaching them how is while they're young. Give them the best chance at being able to relax and possibly even enjoy the grooming process. We'll introduce them to all the sounds, smells and sometimes weird interactions they'll experience at a pace that works for them. Each puppy is different and will react (or not react) to different things. This is a one-on-one session with the groomer who will provide you with any information you need from what brushes and grooming equipment you'll need to shampoos and basic training tips. Puppies don't have a lot of stamina and need plenty of rest so generally the sessions only go for about 30 mins but if puppy needs a bath first you'll need to add that to your booking. We recommend waiting until 2 weeks after their 3rd (final) injection which is usually done at around 14-16 weeks of age to ensure the vaccinations have had time to adequately protect your puppy from harmful viruses before bringing your puppy in for a session.
